Welcome to the

Banks Bowling Association
Founded 1935

Associate Member : Bowls England
Associated Organisation : English Indoor Bowling Association.
Honorary Association Member :  The British Wheelchair Bowls Association

The "Banks Bowling Association" was established in 1935, to spread the interest in the game of bowling amongst employees of the banks. Membership is open to people employed by, or receiving, or due to receive a retirement pension from any Bank in the United Kingdom, or who had a minimum of two years service in a bank. Spouses/partners of existing members may also be eligible for membership.
We have an interesting fixture list with approximately forty one matches against County, Association or various Club sides, both indoor and outdoor during the year.

All members who apply for match selection are considered on an equal basis, and receive roughly the same percentage of games for which they apply, irrespective of their age or ability.

Being an Association there is no "Home Ground" as such; but for the few reciprocal fixtures that are played, the H.S.B.C. Sports and Social Club, (Located at Leonard Road, New Beckenham, BR3 1QW, Kent.) kindly permit the use of their facilities.

Most of our 200 members are from Kent, Surrey & Sussex, but another twenty counties are also represented.
New Members are always welcome. Fixtures are played throughout the year.
The fixture list and recent results can be found on this web site.

Membership is only 10.00 per annum.
