64th Annual Tour  13th - 20th June   2009.

 The Tour To Barnstable

Every year the Banks Bowling Association has a Summer Tour to a venue selected by the President. The tour lasts for one week and is in a different location each year, sometimes a coastal venue is chosen, sometimes  inland. This year the tour will be to Barnstable, in North Devon.

The Tour will be a mixed event  & will include wives and partners; and matches have  been arranged for the ladies for every day except Wednesday the 17th June.

Because of the distances involved some members who are often unable to participate in the regular fixtures and those from further afield, may be able to join us for the Tour.

The hotel is set in a quiet corner of the bustling market town of Barnstaple, the Park Hotel enjoys views over leafy Rock Park and the River Taw beyond. A few strides takes you to the shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre, while the beaches, moors and rolling hills of North Devon stretch ready to be explored in every direction.
